WPGA Melbourne International


Latrobe Golf Club is proud to host the WPGA Melbourne International, sanctioned by the WPGA Tour of Australasia as an official tour event.

Boasting fields of 40-60 female professionals from broad nationalities, the Melbourne International is the only tournament in Metropolitan Melbourne for females only. We are proud to support the WPGA and align our values by hosting a progressive and inclusive event.

Tournament Week Activations

11th January 2024 – Sponsors and Volunteers event – The Island Invitational

20 WPGA Professionals will take on the Island course in a fast paced, fun environment. Playing in teams of 4, the professionals are sure to put on a show. Spectators free and welcome. BBQ and beverages will be available for purchase.

12th January 2024 – Pro Am Day

The professionals will be playing with amateurs on Friday. A team event of 1 professional and 3 amateur’s will be looking to taste a slice of success in the best team prize for the day.

A Pro- Am event with a morning (7:45am) and afternoon (1:15pm) field.  The field includes Professionals from Australia, NZ, Japan, Cook Islands, Malaysia and India.
Lunch provided for AM players at 12:30 to 1:30pm
Dinner provided for PM players at  6:30 for 7:30pm

On Friday, we invite you to spectate the golf on our 18 hole course or register to play our 5 hole course free of charge. Booking essential via proshop@latrobegolf.com.au

13th January 2024 – Professional Event Day 1

On Saturday, the professionals will be taking centre stage and looking to be crowned the winner of the WPGA Melbourne International. With a quality field set to battle it out, we expect some hot scoring and amazing golf on show. The field will include high-profile LPGA players Australia’s Sarah Jane Smith, Karis Davidson, Kelsey Bennet and defending champion Cassie Porter.

Like the Friday, we invite you to spectate the golf on our 18 hole course or register to play our 5 hole course.

14th January 2024 – Professional Event Day 2

On Sunday, the professionals will play the second and final round of 18 holes. Again, we invite you to spectate the golf and walk inside the ropes with the WPGA players. Presentations will follow play by the Oak tree. We encourage this to be a community event including activities, games, live music, food and beverages and the corporate marquee.
