 Around the Club:

Clubhouse - The Builders will be on site on Monday 16 August to commence the front renovation. Quite a few car parks will be sectioned off to allow room for the works and plenty of safety area.

Charles Latrobe/Premiership  Dinner - Saturday 7 August 2010 - Tony Craswell (Club Professional) hosted an outstanding event to conclude another fun filled premiership season. Congratulations to the team of Corruptables for taking out the Premiership. Also to Eric Lehner for his fine season to win the Charles Latrobe Medal. Thank you to Hartwell Maher and Clifton Productions for the audio and visual equipment.

Bar - I am pleased to report that after a couple of months of advertising and interviews we have appointed a new full time Bar Steward to assist Scott with the Clubhouse hospitality. The position became vacant with Jack Rockman leaving to work in the snow fields. Jack was very passionate about snow boarding and found a job at Mount Bulla for the season. All the Best to Jack.

Our new Bar Steward is Leonie Ramani who has previously worked at Huntingdale Golf Club and Heritage Country Club. Leonie will commence with us from the 9th of August 2010 and I trust we will all welcome her to Latrobe.

Catering - In May 2010 "Best Event Catering" joined the Latrobe team to provide all our catering needs. Best Event is owned and run by Berty and Helena Fifi who are locals and have opperated their catering business for over 10 years. Members have warmed to Berty and Helena as they are providing a friendly service with a variety of tasty food options.
